I have self harm scars. What does this mean for me?

Hey all, long story short, I’ve struggled with bipolar II for six years and am a survivor of attempted suicide. I’m a Reform Jew. The good news is that my mental health has greatly improved due to finally getting the right medication and treatments, and I am no longer suicidal for the first time in over half a decade.

I know that it is a myth that “you can’t be buried in a Jewish cemetery with tattoos”, but I know they are looked down upon. Does this apply for self harm scars? What implications do having self harm scars have in Jewish life?

If I was successful in my attempt last year, would I have not been buried in a Jewish cemetery? It wasn’t out of spite, I was just highly delusional and impulsive.
