I have a mezuzah from my parents, I live in an apartment building and cannot affix it to the outside of my door. How can I most appropriately put it on the inside?

As the title says, I have a mezuzah. due to building rules, I can’t hang it on the outside part of our door. However, my landlord has no problem with anything being “hung“ on the inside (e.g., photos, hooks, and by extension a mezuzah).

What’s the most appropriate way to put it up? Should it be on the right side of our door frame?

I’ve looked on this subreddit and online and can’t really find an appropriate answer.
