I feel like I can’t recover from the Yom kippur fast

This was my first fast in two years- last year I was breastfeeding and the year before I was pregnant. I’ve never had a terrible time with the fast, but this year has me messed up still a week after the fact.

I feel like I can’t get hydrated. I drink around a gallon of water a day, sometimes a little more or less. I’ve done electrolyte drinks, too. I’m drinking enough water that my urine is clear for the most part, but I still feel dehydrated.

Has anyone else experienced this? What can I do at this point to feel better? It’s been so bad that I’ve concluded moving forward I can no longer fast from water from YK.
