Hello! I’m a researcher from India, currently working on a project focused on the experiences of Polish Jewish refugees who fled to India between 1942 and 1948 (or beyond), escaping Nazi and Soviet persecution. I am particularly interested in speaking with anyone who either lived in India during this period or has stories passed down from family members about their time in camps such as Balachadi (Jamnagar), Valivade (Kolhapur), or Panchgani.
