Wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this piece?
His thesis is that Jews, as religious, historical and cultural heirs of a middle eastern homeland, are Asian.
He argues that Jews should take to themselves the task of familiarizing themselves with other Asian nations and cultures such as Thailand and China, as fellow Asians such that they may themselves grow more familiar with their Jewish neighbors.
He ends with something like: “This is Asia: Japan in the East, Judah in the West.”
