Converting to Judaism in the Wake of October 7th

Curious to get others thoughts on this. Given the largely anti-Zionist bend of the New Yorker and it’s readership, I don’t love the inclusion of provocative quotes from the Talmud or the predictable negative portrayal of Orthodox Jews. I also find it strange that the author, as a hitherto non-Jew, has married not one but two Jewish men. Her background and journey are nonetheless interesting. I appreciate the exploration of the history of Jewish conversion and proselytizing as well.
