Hi everyone,
I’m Eastern European with extensive Jewish heritage (both through my mother’s and father’s side), but since like the early 20th century no one practiced religion given the historical events, and it wasn’t resumed later by my family.
We did keep a lot of smaller customs (e.g. Shabbat Challah) but it was never explicitly stated as a Jewish thing.
However, I had this calling for a very long time in me to explore and get closer to my heritage, and I have found a lot of things in the religious side as well that started drawing me, particularly in the strange and turbulent times we live in now.
I wanted to ask here how should I start in getting closer to living a Jewish life?
For context, I’m living in the UK, and I’m in my late 20s.
