Can I wear a star of David pendant as a non Jew??

Bit of background, my father is Jewish and I have a strong interest in the religion, and am proud of my family history. Now I was wondering if wearing a star of David pendant would be seen offensive as that’s the last thing I would want to do. Any response would be appreciated, thanks.
