Hello all! I was chatting with my rabbi the other day and we ended up talking about how we wish we had adult Hebrew language classes at our congregation. We are partnered with programs for kids, but adult education is sadly lacking in our community.
He has asked for my help in exploring options for our community, so I was wondering if anybody has experience with this? Namely, are there any programs that exist to help bring adult Hebrew language education to synagogues in need? Or is it simply a matter of finding and hiring a teacher? Any and all info/assistance is welcome!
Sorry if this is a dumb question lol I have experience in language education which is why I think he asked me, but I don’t know much about synagogue programs/operations so I was hoping someone here could illuminate.
