I am an achkenazi jew, my parents never really practiced as my mother is jewish and my father is not. I do follow shabbat. Are there any tips to incorporate myself with the community? I am a member of my chabad but would like to be involved in a more easy going enviornment. Also, anyone that can help me find me someone that I can pay as a tutor to teach me culture and mannerisms. I feel like I am not doing anything right. I did have my bris and bar mitzvah. Also it might be worth mentioning that my uncle is a prominent member and donor to a very important temple in mexico city and wouild love to be able to have conversations with him without sounding like I am posing. I am already reading books and doing courses but I feel that I am getting more confused with that I am learning. If this is a ridiculous post please tell me because I feel like an idiot admitting it.
