Bar Mitzvah Worry

I’ve been invited to an Orthodox bar mitzvah, and I want to make sure I approach it with as much respect as possible. I’m non-binary but will be presenting as a woman for this event to avoid causing discomfort and questions. I will also be leaving my tallis at home too. I’ll be modestly dressed. I also plan to cover my hair because I have an undercut. Additionally, I’m Black, which does make me stand out in predominantly white Jewish spaces. I’m doing my best to prepare and minimize the risk of gossip, especially because I don’t want to cause harm to Heidi, the person who invited me. I’m still feeling a little unsure. Like Im not doing enough. Are there other steps I can take to make this easier for everyone involved?

To add: I’m very aware of the differences between Orthodox Judaism and the rest of Judaism. So I’m not a newbie.
