As a non-jew, what should I do when the torah comes to me?

Shabbat shalom! I hope this gets seen before everyone logs off.

I am not jewish, but I may be converting. I’m going to a conservative shul and I’m not quite sure what I should be doing when the torah is brought out and carried around the congregation. Last time I just stood there while people touched their hand or tallit or siddur to the torah, but I’m not sure if that was right/appropriate for me to do.
