Hi. I am not a jew but, I have recently developed a liking to your religion mostly in a historical context. I believe some of you here are actually jews so i would like to ask you a question. What do you think of the jews of Elephantine especially regarding to their worship of the godesss Anat Yahu as YHWH’s consort. Do u deem it heretical and must be erased or are you more sympathetic towards it. And this may sound outrageous what would you think hypothetically if the godess got reinstated but not a a direct entity but a personification of the shekinah? I wish to discuss with a rabbi about this but where i am from there aren’t any and probably they might not even like to hear about it as well. But if you could, for my sake can you inquire about it and let me know?
