Would wearing a shirt with the Star of David on it be offensive? (I’m not Jewish)

I’m sorry if this isn’t where this post belongs but I didn’t know where else to ask about this.

My grandfather recently got me a shirt as a present. It’s a Siouxsie and the Banshees band t-shirt with a large Star of David and the name of the band underneath. The lead singer wore a similar shirt (without the band name) in the 80s and that’s where the design came from, but she is also known for culturally appropriating a lot (and overall wearing a lot of other very inappropriate things). I am a fan of the band’s music though.

I wasn’t sure whether me wearing this would be culturally appropriative or offensive in any way and i wanted to ask and make sure before wearing it.

Once again, I’m sorry if this isn’t the right place to ask but I don’t know where else to ask.
