working in a jewish cultural institution

I would love to work in a Jewish cultural institution (e.g. museum, research centre, library,…) Currently writing a speculative application for my city’s Jewish museum but it is incredibly unlikely they’ll have employment for me. I know finding employment in the general cultural sector is hard already, but for the ones who work in a Jewish institution, how did you get there? I feel like it’s a very difficult place to reach! I have a relevant degree and experience in Jewish cultural sectors. I know I can always volunteer, but I already volunteer in the community. Any tips welcome.
