As someone who can barely wait for the conversion class to start in September, I’m worried about the possibility that the classes for this year will be canceled. I called the synagogue (in Canada btw) and they said they don’t have a definitive answer yet, but for now, the classes will start as scheduled, but a cancelation is a possibility.
What do you think? Would they go as far as to cancel the classes? And what would that mean for those of us who planned on starting the conversion process?
