why middle age jew philosophers dislike india?

Hello my Jewish friends a hinduist here that have a history question,I was searching about the history of jewish peoples in India because I wanted to know when they inmigrate to bharat, and I see that middle age Jewish philosophers like maimonides and yehuda alevi dislike india and call indians witchcrafters and idol worshippers, if hindu people respect jewish why they dislike them? In comparasicion their contemporary muslim and Christian states do programs and persecutions against jews, the dislike to indians were for lack of knowledge? Please dont think I want disrespect this two important characters but I like to this question be answered,thanks for read it
