Since we don’t know what the birds on the forbidden list are, chicken could be one of them.
With other laws, people are extra careful to not break them and make additional prohibitions just to avoid breaking the original law. Shouldn’t the same apply here, and chicken be considered not kosher? Is there anyone who holds that it’s not kosher?
