I live in a neighborhood with a large Haredi population and I have had virtually no negative experiences or encounters with any of them, yet I constantly find posts on the internet and people in day to day life complaining about how rude haredi people are to them and how oppressed and brainwashed they seem to be, not to mention the constant sleuth of books and movies criticizing any Haredim who do not go off the derech and glorifying those who do. Is this rooted in antisemitism, or is this due to the prevailing bias secular people seem to have against religious communities, or is there any validity to this animosity?
