What’s the reward for being a good person?

This question came up during a discussion with a close friend. He’s Jewish (Bukharian/Bukharan) and I’m Christian. For Christians, it’s clearly “follow the rules, be a good person per our rules and the reward is heaven.”

I’ve read the wiki on heaven here and a few posts clearly stating that heaven is kind of a Christian concept and doesn’t directly translate in Judaism.

My Jewish friend wasn’t sure about the answer but thought that it might be getting to not be reborn.

Any ideas on what the reward is for being a good person and following the rules?

Thank you!
