I know this is bad timing with Shabbat starting soon, but I was invited to a “conservadox” friend’s house for a Shavuot lunch on Monday. I was raised Reform (but have been exploring my observance) and don’t really know what to expect. Should I wear nicer clothes like to a Shabbat service? Is it okay to bring a food present? Should I wear a kippah?
