What should I do

This summer I went on vacation in Italy and visiting Rome I did visit the Jewish Ghetto also and i bought a “souvenir” at least at first I thought it was a good idea.After I got home I did some research and found it was a mezuzah I don’t know what should i do?? It’s a serious object and I wanna be respectful with it,I’m not Jewish so it’s not the case to put it at my door,Should I keep it or no?
