What is the functional difference between Ain, Ain Sof, and Kether?

Forgive me if this is too specific or esoteric of a topic for this sub, as I am not Jewish and I do not know to what extent most Jews normally study the Kabbalah themselves. However I am a Thelemite and we make use of Hermetic Qabalah, derived from Jewish Kabbalah, in spiritual practice.

(I also failed to find any serious or substantial sub on the topic of Kabbalah.)

Anyway, I was recently told that on the Tree of Life there is “no functional difference between Ein, Einsof, and Keter.” Is this in fact so, and if so, how so, or why? And how is Ein Sof Aur differentiated?

Thanks, and forgive me if this is the wrong sub for this post.
