what is something you wish (non jewish) people would understand about the holocaust?

Sometimes I struggle when people don’t realize the system behind it. How many people were involved in letting it happen, how this is not something that just randomly happened but how many people had their part in it. And mostly how they dismiss the severity and the destruction, how they can just move on. I feel like they do not understand the degree of horror and despair. I’m sorry for the rant.
