What is Judiasim teaching around Daniel 9 prophecy of Messaih ?

So in Daniel 9 it says that before the destruction of Jerusalem and the 2nd Temple it says that Messaiah will be cut of and after that will the prince come and destroy Jerusalem and the sanctuary (i belive this refers to the 2nd temple)

So how exactly Judiasim explains this ? the destruction was around 70 A.D. so that means Messaiah must have come before the destruction of the second temple.
