What is Judaism’s stance on things such as tarot and "magic"?

Hey all! I hope you’re having a good day. I’m planning to convert to Judaism, after years of struggling with my spirituality and religious beliefs. During some of that time, I engaged in more esoteric spiritual beliefs (witchcraft, as one would call it). I don’t really plan on returning to witchcraft, since it was injurious to my health (and especially if it’s not allowed in Judaism), however things such as Tarot and the spiritual meaning of crystals still intrigue me.

I’ve been trying to find some resources online, but I’m coming across mixed opinions, with some saying all divination is completely forbidden, others saying the practice of trying to see the future is simply forbidden, others referencing parts of the Tanakh that mention forms of divination occuring, etc. etc., and I’m just completely confused on what’s allowed and what isn’t.

Side note: Sorry if any of my wording is insensitive or whatnot, I don’t quite know how to phrase this and I ask this with genuineness and kindness.
