What excerpt from the Talmud can be appreciated – for its wisdom, for being touching, for being funny etc., even by non-Jews who don’t know much about Judaism?

By funny I mean things like the woman who broke lamps on the head of a sage because of a miscommunication rooted in a difference in dialects.
