What do you guys think about schindler’s list?

I (Jewish) was talking to a guy (christian) on a dating app, and the topic of steven spielberg came up and this guy very much listed Schindler’s List in his reasons for why he didn’t like spielberg.

He thought that the movie was offensive to Jewish people because Oskar Schindler was a white savior doing “the bare minimum” and “barely doing anything,” and that there were too many Jewish stereotypes.

I defended it, but now that I think about it i don’t really know how the greater Jewish community feels about the movie. What do you guys feel about the movie?
