Non Jewish here, I know that it’s hard to overly the forbidden parts (specially as an outsider) and focus more on the relaxation and doing things that you like, as modern sabbath interpretations forbids the usage of electricity in the same vein that it’s forbidden to light and extinguish a flame, but aside of religious practices like eating a dinner with a candle that you lit on Friday and eat challah with wine while reading passages and singing what else do you like to do that doesn’t contradict the 39 prohibited laws ? I’m honestly curious, do you plan things ahead or just go with the Flow ?
