I’m not talking specifically about Kabbalah (but if it’s relevant, I’m open to it).
I mean, what is the Jewish cultural lean in regards to magic, mysticism, and witchcraft? Christians are vehemently opposed (“Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live” and all that.), but how do Jews view them and their beliefs? Is it all nonsense? Is it real, but tied to false idols and all that? Something altogether unique?
Are there any rules against it? Like, is a Jew allowed to also be a Magician or is it one or the other?
