Edit: I misspoke I realize wearing a kippah is not an actual mitzvah but a minhag oops. Hello all I recently learned my Jewish heritage is much stronger than I ever realized and am considering conversion. I was wondering is it completely inappropriate to participate in things such as donning a kippah everyday or wearing a tallit/laying tefillin pre-conversion as there are no synagogues very close to me. The closest one is an hour away. Thank you for any and all input in advance!
