Ways to relearn the religion and ancestry as I embrace it again.

So because of reasons, I lost my way in being Jewish. I celebrated the main holidays out of tradition, but that was it. I didn’t grow up knowing anything more than what they taught in Hebrew school, learned nothing more and wanted nothing more. This went on for quite sometime, and it got to the point were I can barely even read Hebrew anymore, although I do know a few main prayers through rote memorizations. Earlier this year I will started to feel a calling to come back to the faith. I feel so left out in my Jewbook groups, and feel embarrassed asking for them to explain themselves.

What do y’all recommend for me to re-immerse myself in the teachings, phrases, and even Hebrew. I’d ask a rabbi for help, but there isn’t really a synagogue near me.
