Hello! I’m Jewish in an area with hardly any Jews – there’s one small, sleepy synagogue in my area and that’s about it. Every Jewish person I’ve met here (all three of them) are mainly non-practicing, and since I’m immunocompromised I don’t go to in-person services. The thing is, I really want to be an observant, religious, practicing Jew. I want to know the blessings and understand the culture and be a member of the tribe in every way I can. Does anyone else in a small, xtian-dominant area have any good advice for how to live an unapologetically Jewish life even when estranged from a Jewish community?
