Someone who has posted in r/Judaism a lot lately is currently texting me about her despair, thinly-veiled depression, and planned suicide.
Is there something I can do to help her? Every time I try to have a conversation with her and offer some advice or help, she responds with cryptic messages like “Whatever”, “I’m fine”, “Idk”, “I’m sorry”, and “Don’t waste your time on this.”
This person is clearly suffering, and I don’t know what I can do to help her. I’m on the verge of tears.
Please help! I don’t want to be responsible for the death of a Jewish woman.
