Who here feels strongly about their alma mater?
Trying to decide where to apply for school. Thinking of:
Michigan
Princeton
Harvard
Yale
Duke
Stanford
Penn
Dartmouth
Virginia
And I guess Brown University.
Would like a place with a strong Jewish community. Obviously Michigan is (or was) called JewU for obvious reasons. It seems like a great school, but I’m worried it might be too big for me.
But yeah I want to go somewhere where there’s an on-campus Jewish community with a family-like (in the healthy sense) culture. I would like for it to be large enough to not feel like I’m in a fish bowl but small enough for it to feel that at least a few people might appreciate my presence.
How did you like your college experience and the Jewish community there?
