Unfortunately experienced my first taste of antisemitism.

Hi r/judaism !

Just to be clear even though I haven’t converted to Judaism yet I still consider myself to be Jewish.

Yesterday I posted an ad because i was looking for a significant other. I mentioned about Jewishness. Anyways sadly i received a few nasty hateful PM’s from a few people. Quickly I blocked/reported the nasty people but this experience increased my empathy for my fellow Jewish brothers/sisters. This conflict has sadly made these hateful people to be bold enough to say these rude things.

From a very young age I have been discriminated because of my country of origin so I have grown ‘thick skin’ to racism even though no one should have to accept it.

Every person has a limited time on this Earth my logic is why be a racist when you can be kind and improve your local community ??
