I don’t know whether people use any fired clay objects within Judaism; let us suppose people do. Considering Jewish purity-related religious laws, would it be acceptable to use an object made of fired Ganges clay? I ask this because I think Ganges waters make regular contact with corpses, right? I mean, would it be acceptable to use an object made of said clay, after its firing, within Jewish religious ritual?
By what Jewish religious texts one can learn more about Canaanite religious practices? I mean, some Jewish religious texts refer to Canaanite people’s religious practices in order to show how the Jewish religion differs from theirs. What Jewish religious texts make most of these references?
English isn’t my native language, but I can try to clarify what I mean at certain points if you didn’t understand what I’ve written.
