If there was a Jewish equivalent of Father Ted (a hilarious ’90s era comedy series about Irish Catholic priests), it would be set in a rabbinical school and called Rabbi Rousers. There would be hijinks, Talmudic arguments over paintball, and a simmering rivalry with the seminary across town. I would memorize every episode like the nebbish I am.
(Just be glad I didn’t come up with Schwartzadder. Which I would also watch.)
This post is brought to you by crochet, sick cats, and too much British and Irish TV.
