Tips/Exercises for Learning to Read Hebrew?

I’m trying to learn Hebrew. I know, relatively well, all of the letters; however, when I try and read, it’s really hard to pronounce the words. Does anyone know of any tips or exercises for learning to read Hebrew? I’m practicing by trying to write down a transliteration of Hebrew prayers.
