This shabbos my rabbi deepened some learnings of the Kabbalah with me that were very crazy

We were at shabbos’ dinner, having a great meal and great talk. Suddenly, mysticism became the subject and it was said that rabbis that really deepen themselves in studying Kabbalah become crazy in the head and that they come to a conclusion of 2 things: 1- We don’t really exist 2- G-d is not inside us. We’re inside Him

He didn’t really explain any further than that. Can anyone here help me understand what are those 2 conclusions? How do they (kabbalist rabbis) come to it? Like… wtf?!?!
