Buddha called his Religion- Philosophy the Middle Way between extreme ascetism and hedonism. Horace the Poet wrote that virtue is half the way between two extremes , equidistant from both.
Is there something similar in Thanakh, the Talmud or the Dicta of some Rabbis of the past?
