A long time ago I heard a Rabbi tell the story of, I think, a town where everyone went insane and someone agreed with someone else to wear something so that they would both know if one or the other or both became insane. I might be misremembering, as I don’t even remember the origin of this story. I tried just now to find out what it is or more information and I can’t find anything
