Social issues

How come Jews—although diverse—seem on average much more socially conscious than most white-passing people?

Jews (for the most part) seem to have remarkable empathy for, awareness of, and passion for social issues and helping marginalized people?

Almost makes you wish people like Bezos were Jewish. Maybe he’d do more for marginalized people with all of his resources.

Sometimes it seems like people in my local Jewish community attend social justice events than actual shul services lol 😆 🤷‍♂️ (although maybe that’s just my community)

Jews’ empathy and solidarity with marginalized groups seems truly amazing, given the difficulty most people seem to have with this sort of thing.
