Small, accepting, Jewish communities in NY/NJ

Hi! My husband (28) and I (27) are looking to move to NY/NJ with our 7 month old.

-Needs to be a reasonable commute to NYC (1 hour is my husband’s max, but could push it a little over for the ~perfect~ location) – Looking for an accepting modern orthodox community. Maybe a chabad or something similar. A sephardic synagogue would be a plus, but not necessary. We are not big synagogue goers, and don’t keep Shabbat, but we don’t feel connected to reform/conservative temples. -somewhere close to nature/ hiking. Hoping to raise our kids with lots of access to mountains and fresh air – a growing young community.

Let me know what you think! TIA
