Hi all,

Curious to hear your reflections on ‘simcha’.

As it was said:

‘Serve God with Joy’ (Psalms 100:2) and ‘Mitzvah gedola liyot b’simcha tamid’ (it’s a great mitzvah to be ‘joyful’, always), Rebbe Nechman.

I find the ‘simcha’ concept great in contributing to (Jewish) resilience and community building. Especially curious about your reflections on ‘tamid’ (always) in the quote. I take it as ‘be content whatever comes from God, and justify his actions’. Especially those who had religious studies (I haven’t), what you say?
