So I have a silver mezuzah that has sentimental value to me and has been indoors for a few years. I want to put it outside as main front door mezuzah in a new house.
Any issues on this? Very hard to find information. I’ll get the mezuzah scroll checked before mounting and there is some sort of translucent material (I think wax? Not sure) between the scroll and the silver.
