Hi fellow Yids!
My husband and I have been given the honor of presenting our friends’ newborn son for his bris this Shabbat. I’ve been to a bris before, but the last one was for my nephew and it was casual at my brother’s house and honestly I think I was wearing jeans.
I’m 20 weeks pregnant and have just two maternity dresses. Is it weird to wear a black dress to a bris? I ask because black is associated with mourning…
