Should I ditch Hebrew for Yiddish?

I am a conservative American Jew (21m) who is currently a college student. For the last 3 years I have been on and off studying Hebrew. I even went and did a month long Ulpan in Israel. My level is about a B1. I often feel little motivation due to the fact that I most likely don’t plan on making Aliyah, and all of my Israeli family/friends revert to speaking in English no matter how hard I try. I recently have discovered that there are many more Yiddish resources online than I thought. My grandparents spoke Yiddish and I feel a stronger cultural connection to it. But I keep reverting back to the point that “Hebrew is more useful”, yet I think Yiddish is cooler. Just wanted to see what everyone else thinks!
