Should I break up with my boyfriend because he isn’t Jewish?

My family will not accept me if I marry him. They will all cut me off. We come from a lineage of rabbis and i would be desecrating it. I don’t know what to do. I know it’s right to leave him but I also love being with him as well. Help me.
