Shapell’s vs. Ohr Somayach vs. Mayanot

I’m trying to decide between Baal Teshuva yeshivas, but don’t quite have a good gauge of what they will be like. I’m a college graduate and my Hashkafah is kind of up in the air right now: I’ve heard great things about Mayanot though I’m definitely turned off by spending a large portion of my day talking about the Lubavitcher Rebbe. My main goal at yeshiva is to get the Hebrew skills to translate texts on my own, and to improve in davening. I have friends who may go to Mayanot, but I recently got interested in the idea of going down a more litvish path or general path. Does anyone have experience at one of these institutions that they’d be willing to share?
